MEET MODULUS

Peter Michealsen co-founded Modulus Consulting in 2010. He manages day-to-day operations and new client outreach. Peter has overseen the steady growth of Modulus and likes to be hands-on, managing many large projects personally. Peter's commitment to quality of work, integrity and adding value to every project has built a trusted name for the company in the AEC community. Prior to founding Modulus Consulting, Peter worked in the Virtual Design and Construction department of Webcor Builders.

Brent Hammond directs Modulus's Washington DC office and serves as lead BIM Coordinator as a seasoned manager of MEPS coordination efforts, having directly coordinated MEPS BIM efforts on high-rise towers, the SF General Hospital Rebuild, and multi-family residential.

Sara Troy manages day-to-day operations, directs team development, is responsible for company standards and productivity, and continues to lead standards and workflow development. Sara has developed Revit Standards for various firms in the OAEC Industry, and will also manage projects with a particular focus on drawings production and management of construction databases. Sara also looks forward to CANstruction every year - a charity event for the Food Bank, as well as donating her time to Architecture in Schools.

Sheena Shook's title may be Business Developer, but her passion lies in Building Information Management (BIM). She meticulously hones her BIM skills by managing some of the company's most intricate and high-profile projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Clients seeking expert BIM project management and technical advice find a staunch advocate in Sheena. With over 20 years of experience spanning diverse project types—healthcare, science & technology, utilities, multi-family housing, higher education, and retail—she has witnessed and applied BIM in countless ways. From linear accelerators to spherical theaters, Sheena's projects are a testament to her vast knowledge.

Sheena has meticulously cultivated strong relationships with key players in the AECO community, actively contributing to and rigorously reviewing various BIM standards. Her experience encompasses developing Owner BIM Standards, serving as an Owner's representative to conduct thorough BIM model reviews, and submitting diverse BIM applications. This has instilled in her a unique and invaluable comprehension of the constantly evolving BIM landscape.

Ben Alfonso-Licea is a BIM Project Manager and a graduate of UC Berkeley in Architecture. Ben uses Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD in his work with clients and has worked on as-built modeling for a future outpatient eye care clinic, production drawing activities for San Francisco General Hospital, and is currently working on model and drawing production for the California Pacific Medical Center. Ben is also active in his spare time with Habitat for Humanity.

Jesse is a Sr. BIM Specialist at the New York office. Jesse's most recent projects at Modulus Consulting include MEP modeling on the Salt Lake City Airport, 4D modeling of the UCSF Parnassus and City Center Bishop Ranch, structural BIM support on McKenzie Tower and Stanford, and electrical modeling on Pinterest HQ and Genentech.

Steve Davis is a BIM Project Manager heading up Modulus's Fort Worth office. He has worked in the AEC industry for over 9 years and has been involved in numerous projects ranging from data centers and mixed use high-rise towers to higher education and industrial. Prior to working at Modulus, Steve worked at a design/build contractor based out of Seattle where he helped implement the use of BIM, creating MEP design standards and workflows between design teams and construction teams.

Jake Canterell is a BIM Project Manager based out of the Reno-Tahoe office of Modulus Consulting. Recent project experience work with Modulus includes multi-family BIM coordination, highly technical architectural, structural, site civil, and solar hot water system modeling. He assists with workflow development, process optimization, and specialty deliverables.

CJ Hawley joins Modulus as a BIM Project Manager with a strong background working with mechanical piping contractors, self/on-the-job taught over his career with a focus on commercial, data centers, & semiconductor facilities. As a self-proclaimed BIM nerd, CJ loves creative solutions and always seeks continuous incremental innovations.

CJ is a dad of 2, an artist and musician at heart, and recently into photography. He can often be found outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.

Javi Candelas is a Sr. BIM Specialist based out of the San Francisco office. Javi is a seasoned BIM expert with a wide variety of modeling skills. He has modeled wood and metal framing for office/laboratories, electrical modeling and coordination for large offices, as well as managing Facilities Management implementation for the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry.

Andrew Schmitt has over a decade experience using Autodesk's Revit. As a Sr. BIM Specialist in the Washington D.C. office, his work includes managing FM data for the mechanical, architectural, and electrical components, used for the long-term maintenance of the LEED Silver certified, BGE Front Street project in Baltimore, Maryland. He also contributes plumbing trade modeling support for a high-rise apartment building.

Vishaal Dokras is a Sr. BIM Specialist based out of the San Francisco office. He brings to Modulus his architectural and urban design experience working on hotel and hospitality projects, with architectural & structural modeling, rendering, MEP coordination, and construction document production.

Vira Kravtsova joins Modulus's San Francisco office with an extensive architectural & coordination background in affordable, multi-family, and high-end residential & commercial projects, consisting of both convential & modular construction, as well as expertise in model production & BIM workflow optimizations.

Roger Donate is a Sr. Reality Capture Specialist based out of the San Francisco office, and has a number of years experience modeling electrical scopes as well as architectural and structural for our clients. Roger co-leads the Dynamo Club for Modulus, and has a FARO Laser Scanner Certification.

Aaron Brommers joins Modulus as a BIM Specialist with a experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, and now drawing in AutoCAD.

Will Goble is a BIM Specialist based out of the Portland office, and joins with a background in standards review and managing large scale projects for the Port of Portland.

Leo Isidro is a BIM Specialist and joins Modulus Consulting with years of technical architectural experience in a wide array of project types that included construction documentation and high detail modeling. Leo also utilizes Laser Scanning technology for use in construction as-built documentation and Property Management clients.

Nataya Scherry is a BIM Specialist based out of the San Francisco office, and joins Modulus Consulting with 19 years of architectural drafting and modeling experience, with the bulk of his experience in science, technology, and medical care buildings.

Ian is a BIM Specialist out of Texas, and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler in construction management. In addition to site-work experience, Ian is eager about expanding his technical ability. He is passionate about implementing innovative solutions and identifying ways to optimize projects, improve efficiencies, and minimize construction costs.

Daniel joins Modulus with experience in both construction & BIM, with his construction background ranging from plumbing, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, and granite & tile installation. His BIM experiences included Revit project setup, spooling, templates, and construction drawings. Daniel specializes in Revit family creation with shared parameters, and has vast knowledge of Revit plug-ins such as Rushfort Tools, Evolve, and Diroots.

Melissa Lewellen joins Modulus with a background of over 20 years in Office Management/Administration in architectural, consulting, and automation systems. She also has many years of experience in Human Resources with insurance and software development sectors. Melissa is accustomed to wearing many hats in overseeing office administration.

Ryan Lee is the Office Manager for Modulus Consulting, and is based out of the Bay Area. He addresses various tasks and responsibilities.
